Not much more here. Plenty more in the forecast, but there's always a big storm in the forecast. Fired up the Sno-Cat I got from Jonas today and drove it downtown. Lots of things are going to need fixing before I head out into the hills with it. It looks like the only gage that works is the oil pressure, the heater/defroster fan barely turns, there's a big hole in the exhaust, the generator may or may not generate, and the engine is sorely lacking in power. I guess sitting for 3 years didn't do it any good. Wish I had an enclosed shop.
Kind of an interesting situation here in Wallace -- the whole city crew (all two of them) either quit or were fired just as the first big snow hit. They have a couple new guys who don't know the system trying to plow. Nobody's saying what happened, but the rumors are circulating of course. Looks like we'll have a couple days before the next snow comes, so by then maybe the new guys will figure out how to do it.
