I fired up the '52 Sno-Cat today and drove it around town. The carb was dry, but with a little ether it started right up. That's my best-running 230. The battery was dead in the '56, so I'll try it tomorrow. Last year I learned an expensive lesson with it -- don't wait until the snow is up to the top of the hood to try moving a Sno-Cat, especially when the tracks are embedded in ice. I broke a U-joint, and twisted the drive shaft a bit. The U-joint was an odd-ball one that was very hard to find and cost $40. I'm going to see if the twisted shaft is still good enough to use. This year, I'll make sure I move them both around enough to keep them up on top of some snow so they don't freeze to the ground.

We have about 15" of snow now, which is a lot considering we had none yesterday. How much do you have up in your neck of the woods, Jerry?

As for communism, I'm against it.
