Some of these, no doubt, need doing. The bottom line is WHO is the enforcer. If discontented people would ever take the time to READ the Constitution of the United States of America, even if they just read the Preamble and the Bill of Rights (first ten amendments) they will discover that the obsessive fear that drove these men to revolt against the greatest military power on earth was the FEAR OF GOVERNMENT screwing with their lives. It is damned near impossible to force people to do right all of the time...and in the words of Milton Friedman, "Nothing does so much harm in this world as good intentions."
If you were to grant the federal government all the power suggested, we would soon be begging for a "Sadam Husein" to liberate us.
But, I repeat, some of those ARE great ideas.
