...with the facts. Detroit has been cutting production since 2006. Right now (try a little google research) there are 220 ACRES of Toyota's sitting at the Port of Los Angeles, rusting. Japan has not cut back a thing.
One more thing, as much as I hate the union concept, the failure of the UAW will mean that YOU and I pay for those lost benefits through our taxes, they are protected by federal law, it's a lose-lose situation.
Bail out and cover the industry, let them fail and still pay it out in the middle of a depression, not much of a choice.....
