I have had my '62 pwgn for about a month now and have been working the bugs out of it. I have noticed that the truck makes a "chirping" noise that gets louder and more frequent when I have a load on or am pulling a long hill. Sometimes the engine will give some hesitation during this time. I am wondering if it is a spark advance/timing issue? I was told by the former owner that it probably should have a valve adjustment-could this be a contributing factor? My dad has a '53 chevy truck that does something similar but not nearly as bad or loud. Does anyone have any suggestions?
