You probably should consider twisting the rear axle upwards by cutting the spring perches loose and rewelding.

You want both u-joints to be the same angle, within 1/2°, even if one end is up and the other down. The lower the angle the better. It'll make lots of noise and vibrations if the angle don't match, and have poor life span if the angle exceeds 10°.

The typical three-headed combination square has one protractor head with a level in it, it works for checking drive line angles.
