Now, come on. The chinese pay better wages than that, and they would be stupid to move the factories to China. Just like Toyota, the auto industry really understands that they need to build where they sell.
SAIC is the jv partner of the two largest auto companies in China (Shanghai GM and Shanghai VW). With the addition of their own brands, they are an enormous company with good management, and lots of capital.
I hate to see GM in such trouble, but this is a better alternative than many of the other things being tossed around..and I don't have to pay for it!!
Who ever liked Saturn, anyway?
