The FFPW is designed to run no more than 100 degrees above the ambient outside temperature. My truck runs 200 degrees no matter how hot it is above 100 degrees even when it hits 115 degrees. The cooler the ambient temperature, the temperature of the engine will vary according to the thermostat. Use the ambient temperature as your guide for your engine temperature.
