Like large trucks that have straight cut gears. once you get the feel of it the only time you need the clutch is starting off and when your stopping (practice in low range) for awhile you can master it in a couple of hours both up and down shifts or find someone who has driven a hiway rig to show its a piece of cake once you understand~ J
