gas cap specs

can someone give me the measurements of a m37 gas cap. i bought a 5 ton truck with a board bunged over the fuel tank. im almost sure the caps will interchange. i just want to be sure before i order it. the 5 ton inlet is 4 5/16 od and has 3 cams like a m37.
