I had looked at the hinge pin on the bottom of the door and found there is not much room to hammer it upwards. I have bee wondering how to use a puller or something to force the pin up.
Paul, your clamp device looks to be a very good solution.
As usual, you bunch of talented folks have come up with many great fixes. What a great site!
I'll let you know how it goes.
Right now, I am in worse shape with recovering neck sugeries than I could have imagined (since July!)
