Put another handle on the outside....

In my experience you often need to push and pull on both handles, as well as push on the door to get it to pop open.

Before you try pulling pins, or other harder jobs, try both handles. The passenger side handle is the same and should swap over.

If that does not work then go inside the cab and take a screwdriver, or some other small prying device to try and pry up the latch from the striker.

If neither one of those work then try spraying the whole mechanism down with PB Blaster (inside the door and out), or something like it and letting it soak overnight. That might free things up.

No need to go Medieval on it until you have tried the easier tricks first.

Let us know if those don't work, there are other methods.
