All of my later Dodge Rams ('97 1500, '03 1500 and '08 2500) were ordered and came with "full size spares". The tire size was the same, the only difference was they were mounted on stamped steel rims instead of the aluminum wheels on the 4 corners. As Paul said, I'd have a talk with the dealer.
