I have a '73 service manual if that would be of help. It's been a # of years since I owned it but I do recall a couple of times the connector at the steering column gave me trouble. Check that first. As I recall the rig would not start and I had no power like you mentioned. Mostly it seems like I just pulled it apart and there was one wire that didn't look very good. Cleaned it up and reseated the connection and all was well. I'll check back later today.
