Clint, sorry I didn't read your message until tonight. I had surgery on Tuesday morning so I'm about 2 days ahead of you. Recovery hasn't been easy but I turned the corner today. Swallowing soft food is now more manageable and breathing is much easier. Swelling throughout chest and neck is receding. I think the worst part of the surgery is the invasive nature in which the Docs must handle the trachea and esophogus. You will turn the corner soon my friend.
