I'm assuming this is a newer (used) dodge truck? Aren't trailer connections built into the wiring harness where someone can just pigtail into a module under the dash?
Another sign of a slide in wrecker/boom would be extra wiring of some type for the hydraulic controls and such. probably would also have controls inside the cab of some type.
Not knowing age/mileage of truck it would be hard to guess. Doesn't seem to have signs of a wrecker type usage.
Something else to consider is that the holes were there from the factory?? It seems more and more trucks come with the plastic bedliner stock so this would be hidden underneath?? probably a long shot...
