If it's a 69 and hasn't been swapped it should be an LA 318 , not a poly. With 32K miles it should be fine the keywords here are SHOULD BE. Still a good motor but not with the torque of a 318A poly. You can tell the difference if you've ever driven both. But don't let this stop you from buying the Camper Special just be aware of the extra springs in the rear.
