Had a buddy who is restoring a WDX locally come by the shop the other day. He has his frame all done and his newly rebuilt engine installed. He installed the transmission and tried pressing the clutch. He said it pushed really hard and the clutch shaft only rotated about 30 degrees and was flexing. I suggested he pull the bottom cover and look up at the clutch to see if the throwout bearing was hanging up or installed wrong. I wasnt sure if it was possible to install the disc backwards or not but that also came to mind. I had him climb into one of my PWs to try it and he thought his was definately harder. Any thoughts?
