Well now you're talking about something completely different...those are off-road trucks.
I kind of resigned myself to just paying transport companies to haul my trucks when fuel went nuts. My rule of thumb....if you haul more than 1000 miles/year with an 8000lb+ trailer...you need a dually.
I'm sure you've driven one towing...no? The two vehicles can't be compared.
I realize there are guys that think the dually's are poor in the snow but I've never had one stuck & I've been in lots & lots of snow.
Driving a SRW truck when towing is the same as taking a dually truck to Moab...they just aren't designed for this. Is it possible?...sure...just dumb.
Course when you fly into the rallies in a 777...you don't need the dually. :)
