I am proud of our nation for reaching the point where a person of color can be president. I'll be even happier when we reach the day where it isn't an issue at all. PW content: My (white) grandfather was the chief of maintenance for GSA here in Idaho back when they were first mapping the state for the USGS. His assistant was a black man (one of the few in Idaho at the time). They had an old army jeep fitted with all the tool boxes and repair gear to run around the Idaho back country keeping the Dodge Power Wagons running. All the GSA mapping vehicles were PW Townies. He bought them new in the spring and by fall there was no paint below the windows. Oh the stories those two told.
