the manual shows the three terminals inside the connector as being labled A, B, C. A termianl is the very top one and goes to the armature, C is the lower right ( clockwise from A ) and is connected to A as well. Both A and C are the armature terminals. The B terminal is the lower left one and is for the field. hope this helps.The generator grounds thru the casing into the mount attached to the motor.
