I have machined all my Dual-Matic intermediate sections to the same diameter as the outer hub. This way tire changes are easier and no greasy mess! The steel intermediates work fine. It will weaken them slightly though..I have only had one casualty in Moab where the intermediate split apart! I still prefer WARN hubs when you can find them!
