That price isn't including our emission testing equipment, which by law must be an in-ground dyno type machine.
The high rpm test portion is run under load, in gear, at 60 mph...in the shop.
I'd guess another $40,000 with changes every year.
The State has a loooong list of REQUIRED equipment needed for each specific trade or task. To run a full shop, with A/C work, brake work, batteries, emissions, body work etc., you'd be in at over $100,000 in just test and environmental equipment alone, PLUS permits!
No wonder folks are leaving the state by the millions.....
