With a little soap to make things softer. The rubber block that Chris is talking about is the most universal tool, and works real good. I have ventured into other sets of blocks from the paint supplier, in different configurations and shapes. They all work good. I would suggest finding a junk hood or door and practicing getting the feel for the paper and block. You may find that what yo think is rubbing lightly may be to hard in the end. I should know this really well, because there is an old saying- "Behind every bad painter, there is a good buffer" well, I'm really good at sanding and buffing! Good luck!!
