Apparently it has the VC transmission with lockouts, VC front and rear sheetmetal, VC chassis, but WC half ton axles, WC 3/4 ton engine (T214) and civilian 40-47 cab.

The big pictures of the side show that it was originally fitted with transverse seats, hence VC 5 rather than VC 3.

Chassis number has some sort of obstruction on it, like welding, but USA number still visible and now on the survivors list.

I'm just waiting to see if John turns up any more from that location ...
