You're more compassionate than I am. I think once an adult decides that dope is the most important thing in life, no matter why they got to that point, I'd rather have them fry their brains with cheap dope in the privacy of their own homes, than steal honeycomb radiators for scrap in order to buy their dope. I'll let the doctors and the shrinks figure out how to get them un-addicted. I just want to make sure that their addiction doesn't hurt the rest of us. If it means they dope themselves to death a few years sooner, that's their business, not mine.
