Chris is correct, just pull off a vacuum line & coast down a hill. These old engines put a good pecentage of fuel out the exhaust,, too rich to ignite,,, add air & bang. There used to be a spark plug kit available. The plug went near the end of the tailpipe, hit a switch & shoot flames,, never saw one. It sounds like you are sucking air somewhere. Is it idleing faster than usual??
