The European Fleet average for Chrysler is 35 mpg +.
Some Dodges and Jeeps get 56 mpg over there.
Don't blame oil companies, blame your local democrat who banned small efficient and clean diesels because they cater to the environmental left who have been trying to ban the diesel since the 1970's.
Anything that can run on fossil fuel is their enemy, however they are out of touch with the the new technologies.
Small, quiet, clean and efficient diesels can turn around our dependency on foreign oil nearly overnight. Simply by changing motor types we could have that 35 mpg fleet average NEXT year!
The United States has 60% of the worlds known oil reserves under our land and off of our shores, more than 60 years supply at the current rate of consumption. These area have been placed off limits by the democrats in congress, who went on vacation this summer without lifting the oil drilling ban.
Their answer? Tax, spend and over regulate, then bail out the survivors??? We deserve what we get if we keep electing these Einsteins to office...
