The B5.9 is a large engine and heavy. You will have to rework the firewall for clearance. Even then, its tight. Additional suspension mods will be required for the weight.

I use B3.9 engines in my PW/M37/WC and am using a B3.9 in my 1960 W300. In my opinion, the B3.9 provides all the power you will need in these trucks. It will fit without cutting sheet metal. Additional suspension mods will also be required for the weight of the B3.9.
