Ugh!!!! Trailer Brakes

Well I loaded up the M and took Franky to the muffler shop for the installation of the flex joints in the exhaust, so I don't brake another exhaust manifold tomorrow (so I'll brake something else). And the darn brakes had to be turned up to 9 volts to get any decent braking (used to only take about 6 volts)!

I checked this evening, and with the wheels off the ground, it takes 4.5 volts to cause the drivers side to lock up, and 6.5 volts on the passengers side.

New wires this spring, the main wire goes to the front drivers side, then branches to both the rear axle (drivers wheel) and the front passenger side, then the rear drivers side goes to the passengers rear wheel.

Am I loosing voltage to the passengers side because it's more wire to them?
