I figure if I do end up back there the scrap price will drop mysteriously as I pull into the yard. I would call right before I left the shop! Still putting out feelers for other scrappers but nothing yet.
I am going to have a local metal shop make me a set of heavy duty fenders that will withstand being driven on. I took pictures of a good setup I saw at the Texas Rally this spring where the inner edge of the fender was reinforced with heavy angle. I may incorporate that too.
