if you think you ran out of gas you probably did dont start changing out every thing . we run out here often due to insurance liabilties of owning a bulk tank on the farm.When my pw runs out its a pig to prime up the fuel lines it takes about a half a coffe cup (Xtra large ) to prime up up to start again > i take off the air filter get my fire extinguisher handy and pour about a good ounce in making sure the battary is up ,i give a couple of cranks . and repeat the procedure slowly again and again til the pump primes and engine runs again.the pump is anemic on these trucks and slow to pick up fuel when empty ~ J
