bed wood width, 1st vs early 2nd- question

I am getting ready to assemble the bed wood for my early 2nd series truck ('52 B-3). There are holes in the supports for 6 boards.
Am I correct in thinking that the width of the boards for this truck is the same as for the 1st series?
The 1st series boards are listed as 10 3/8 for the outside two boards, and 7 5/8 for the inner four boards.
Later 2nd series trucks had narrower boards.
Before I rip the boards, I want to be right.
