starter running slow? any help

The last mounth or so the truck has not always wanted to start. Some time it would just go click. Other times it will turn over slow or even kick back a little. I check the battery, solenoid, connections. The starter was rebuilt a few years back. Could it be time to do it again.
the truck is a stock 57 PW
