It seems that plenty of Power Giant era trucks reside in the NW and Rockies.

I have found many WWII WC 1/2 and 3/4 ton trucks and M37s in the San Antonio Area, due to the strong military history and presence down hear. I believe there are a fair amount of W300s and W500s here that were originally gov't trucks, if not were bought for commercial use (electric, telephone) and of course Fire Dept.

What you don't seem to come across are hardly any Power Giant (57-60) 100/200s, and a few 61-71 PWs.

In the old days, 4wds were expensive and not commonplace. Individuals did not just buy 4wds to have one for occasional use.

Up north and nw, more individuals required them,
as well as commercial, gov't, FD, utility.

Geography and use plays a big role in where these trucks are located. Of course some were transplanted, but I think the majority have stayed close to home over the years.

Beat the bushes, chase all leads, talk to everyone, you will be suprised at what you may find.
