I've been on the same set of these here Buckshots you talk of since 1996 est 30k miles on a 1956 flatfender. Both with split rims and solid rims. Now, if your gonna run the split rims go with LPT 15 radial tubes and flappers. There the same tubes used in lowboy trailers, nice thick rubber that will fit in a 16 inch rim and a looonnnngggg valve stem. Works real good. The only problem with the split rim set up is the narrow width of the rim. It may tend to squeeze the tire slightly out of round. These trucks don't go fast enough for this to be to big of a problem thou. Personally, I am really happy with my Buckshots. They make for a smooth ride and wear really well, I've seen 60k on this tire and still look close to new. Oh, one other con with them is they do wheather check slightly on the sidewalls.
