It can be difficult if you don't prepare. Number one if you are a private person NOT a business and the vehicule is less than 1000. dollars you just show up at the border crossing and fill out the papers yourself. A call the day before you intend to show up is also welcomed and desirable. The Custom officers will give you all the help you need. Be honest and try to aquire all the paper work possible with the vehicule.
