To some,POWER WAGON is just another relative term. The 46'WDX-68'WM300 is the original POWER WAGON,even though other body styles of Dodge 4x4 trucks carried the POWER WAGON logo. The WDX-WM300 trucks were truely POWER WAGONS due to their ability to carry mobile power to inaccessable places, powering multiple types of equipment. This is what made it a PW,and why it was called a POWER WAGON!Later the term PW on the other body styles became equated to the basic 4x4 offroad ability with more powerful engines.Long before I ever saw my first WM300,I was in love with the early 70's short wb PW PU! It was to me,a PW but I now give respect and honor to my 64'WM300 as the original and true deserver of the POWER WAGON title! No one really begrudes the other body style PW's,but give the WDX-WM300 POWER WAGON its due honor, respect and rightful place as KING of the POWER WAGONS!
