I've been driving a "73 PW since it was new. Have had a few brake problems over the years but most of them were related to the basics of good shoes and proper adjustment. Do you have to push a lot harder on the brake pedal than you used to? I would expect so if there is a loss of vacuum on the booster. I once had trash in a brake line that caused the same symptom of high pedal pressure and no brakes. I've found it always pays to cover the basics first, then look for something out of the ordinary. I want to change to disc brakes someday and have brakes equal to the rest of the truck. If you have more questions, feel free to ask. Good luck.
