Hi David,

1. Did you put new motor mounts in the rear?

2. Check the cab floor transmission cover to see if it's riding on, or very close to the top of the transmission. Engine torque can cause the transmission to bang and knock aginst the cab floor. The cab rubber insulators sag over time, you may need to shim your cab up with rubber, 1/4 inch at a time.

3. Check to make sure your transmission universal joint is prperly seated in the yoke.

4. Its not likely that you bent your input shaft, thats pretty tough steel, but it's always possible

5. If you have an incline somewhere you can take your truck to, put it in 1st, and on a fast idle drive it and try and notice if you have any drivetrain vibration. This is usually attributable to a worn ring & pinnion that shows up as a third gear knock also. Now that your engine is rebuilt, more torgue, that could be showing up.

Good Luck!
