Off topic, I know, but any thoughts on the 5.2 versus the 5.9 gas V-8's in the newer Ram 4X4's (1998 and later?). I want a quad cab with a manual transmission, but wonder about the power and economy of the two motors. I currently drive a 6.2l diesel GMC, but need the room for a growing family. I'd buy a Cummins powered rig, but don't tow anything major, and the payback period for the price difference is pretty long.
Any information or opinions are appreciated.
