Gang,
I am in the process of replacing the exhaust manifold on
my M37. My question is this: What special actions are
recommended when connecting the exhaust manifold to the intake
manifold? I broke the original bolts and am planning to simply
get replacement 5/16 X 18 bolts (grade 5 maybe).
I noticed on the original that no lock washers were present.
Are these special bolts? Do I need to be concerned about
expansion / contraction ? Any special tightening considerations?
Any special requirement for sealing the heat exchanger gasket?
