I saved the original wood pieces on my 1941 WC 1/2 ton closed cab pickup and squirreled them from the weather.
The main stringer that runs along the top of the frame rails is exactly 2 3/4" thick. The cross stringers to which the wooden flooring is screwed are exactly 2" thick.
Thus, the bottom of the wooden floor is 4 3/4" above the top of the frame rails.
I don't have the thickness of the wood flooring. My metal parts are several miles away. But if I recall right, they are sized to fit exactly between the lips on the bed sides.
