last thursday i had trucked in pit run gravel to repair a road to my north farm . the beavers dam had given away after a 4 inch rain washing out a 18 by 12 patch of the road .yesterday i was taking out a piece of equipment behind my tractor which was quite wide ,the front tire of the tractor caved in to the soft road about 20 feet before the patch i had repaired . the tractor pitched right over as i tried to back the tractor up the tractor rear wheel colapsed in the soft sie of the ditch almost flipping the tractor over . i was lucky i was going slow . so i walked home got my son and went out with the P W . the pw couldnt pull the stuck tractor but (9500lbs plus the towed piece of equipment 5000 lbs) the power wagon was used to keep the tractor from going completly over .with the PW holding the tractor from flipping over .i was able to restart the tractor . it is a hydro drive which ment all i had to do was pull a lever to control the power to the wheels . i attached a rope to the joy stick my son was pulling the front of the tractor back on the road once the front end was amming towards the road i pulled the rope from a safe distance to the hydrostat stick and engaged the power of the tractor to the rear wheels out it came! i dont think even another tractor could have been as versatile as the power wagon using the winch and the low range 4WD ~ Copey
