I could try.... Or just build it for you.

T-roy,

I am out of speedometers to build, but the next time I take one apart I will try to take pictures. The picture above shows the backside of a couple of original disks

Basically there is a T shaped stepped cylinder with the plastic disk on the thin side behind the visible larger face. Then there is a washer behind the plastic disk to hold the plastic disk in place. The washer must be removed, then the old plastic disk.

Once that is done the new plastic disk can be put in place, and then the washer goes back on. Some people think it is a friction fit, and other people have told me they used glue to reattach everything to the center.

But these are tiny little parts, and I am not sure if pictures will help.

I am willing to build the pointer if people send me unmolested centers. Buy a disk, and pay me an extra $20 to cover my time and the extra shipping cost and I will put my plastic disk on the center you send me, and ship it back. I will even put the pointer on the outside if you want for that price.

E-mail me if anyone wants me to do that, and I will figure out the details.

Eric
