At the risk of being serious here, I wanted to recommend that you have the tree guys leave about 8' of trunk on the tree. This will give you leverage to pull it over. I broke the brass bull gear in an MU2 winch one time trying to pull an apple tree stump that was only about 3' tall. I had the truck anchored and the stump one. But you probably knew this already. JH
