I guess when my Great Grand Dad Norm calls me a youngster I am not as old as I thought LOL !.

Death Wobble is a term coined for the front end shimmy found on Dodge Trucks form 1989 thru 3rd Gen. Its a term recognized and well known by Dodge Dealers. As My Grand Dad suggests, it can be easy to fix or a problem never found, which has resulted in some buy backs.

Over the years, I have read most of the Death Wobble posts on the Turbo Diesel Register, it does appear that very few people with bone stock trucks ever have this unknown Death Wobble problem. It does appear that people with suspension mods/optional tires etc are more likely to experience the Death Wobble. It is a truly serious condition that rears its head under certain road conditions. In many cases it can not be duplicated when taking the vehicle to a Dodge Service Center. From reading the posts, many dealerships attempt repair with the shot gun method, replacing a lot of parts
hoping to resolve the problem. This may or may not work.

I have never experienced the Death Wobble with my 03 Ram which is bone stock, except for Bumpers and driving lights.
