Here's my two cent's nothing on the drive train of a WWII 1/2ton fits anything on the WWII 3/4 ton,it's a dog of it's own.Except the early 2wd civillian pick-ups 38,39 and I believe that's cab parts and tail gates. However the gears in the 1/2 ton tranfer case will fit inside the 3/4 ton transfer.WWII 1/2 ton Dodges were my favorite to restore and 4x4,I had three great teachers,John Zentmeyer, David Cirillo,Tom Burns.Bought my first Dodge from John in 1978.
PS. I ran 3/4 ton and 1-1/2 ton 6x6 combat rims on my 1/2 ton w/900x16's.
Now look at every jeep and truck running bead locks.
That's my two cents,for what it's worth.
I think you can get zentmeyers book form Vintage ,Or Portrayal press.
Thanks JOE!
