All of mine you have to move by hand. That includes two tucker sno-cats, a PW, an M43 and an M37. So far my opinion is they're always neglected and stuck. One of the sno-cats had its heat riser set (and stuck) in the summer position, which seems particularly stupid and made the carburetor ice up the first time I drove it any distance in damp 30 degree weather. I've always thought it would be ideal to hook a choke cable to it and have "carb heat" be a dashboard control like on airplanes. If nothing else, that would ensure that it got moved now and then and not stuck in one position.
