Russ I think you are on to something there. I just got back from another test run up Slickpoo after using my vacume brake bleeder to see if I was getting air anywhere in the system and setting the carb float higher to maybe cool it by not running lean. When it sputtered i stopped and could see bubbles in the pump bowl, it looked like the fuel was boiling. Ambient temp today is 96.
